Since 1987, Xybernaut has been working with State Department of Transportation
organizations providing them with enterprise level Program/Project Management Systems (PPMS) Solution.
These systems provide a fully integrated environment for managers at all levels
of the organization. The PPMS provides more effective program, project and resource
management because it is a blend of commercially available software and custom developed
software.
The Xybernaut PPMS system is a generic system that addresses the unique
business issues associated with DOT's. The PPMS integrates Funds Management, Project
Management and Task Management into one complete solution. The PPMS provides capability that addresses the unique information needs for different organizations.
Several DOT organizations have also integrated the PPMS with GIS, Finance and AASHTOware
products. By integrating these different systems, communication between the different
organizations is enhanced resulting in more coordinated efforts and greater efficiencies
for all projects within the program.
